It is as if you step back in time 300 years....
There is not a piece of garbage to be found on the ground...there is no packaging...there is no corner store...
La Baie School was dedicated on Nov 9th, 2008...It was a miracle that $35,000 was provided to build this fantastic facility.

the story that moved Carlton's heart... " when I was 7 years old I was very sick, my mother had to give me worm medication and for the next five days I had bad pain and fever. I remember the suffering. No one in La Baie had tylenol - no one had any money to buy tylenol - my dream is that the children of La Baie and the Far West will never have to sufer like this...
" in my senior year of high school I was to receive the top academic award, the night of the presentation I did not go...I had only old shoes to wear with holes...
Mendelson grew up in the Village of La Baie - his grandfather, his father and all his family were born in the family house along the river. Mendelson had a dream to build a School and a Medical Clinic. His dream came true on November 9th 2008. The kindness of many people and one special family provided the $35,000 to complete the La Baie School - a Project Carlton Managed through Childcare Worldwide.

Farmer Seed Program - following two winter storms the farmers have been supplied with seeds that have given them the opportunity to replant. The farmers have gifted a bag of seeds back.
Lunch Program - the 180 children now registered at La Baie School eat a well balanced lunch three days per week.
Womens Seminars- Mrs Roseline delivers the food each saturday and hosts a womens seminar - a focus on womens health issues and cooking
