 LA GRANGE SCHOOL was completed December 2009 - the 2nd School Project. It began with $1000 of Carlton's Birthday Money - $500 from the Children & Youth of Nelson Avenue Community Church, donations from a Sask Farm Family & an Orange California Family...and was completed with a $20,000 donation from a Manitoba Farm family...what a blessing!
La Grange School is a Baptist Union Mission Project - the School has #380 students and has met in in the local great room church and under palm branch structures.
LA GRANGE VILLAGE.... CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS for HOMES
PROJECT PLAN.....the river delta that is home to La Grange is always hit with severe damage following every storm...why don't the people move? this has been their home and land for several hundred years and there is no place to go.
CONCRETE FLOORS..... one meter/approx three feet of crushed rock and cement will provide the stable foundation for each of the #300 Village Homes.
